The Carolyn Foley Dutta Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of a loving mother, daughter, spouse, and friend to so very many. Carolyn's life was tragically cut short by a drunk driver on New Years’ Eve 2011.

An outgoing and vivacious University of Michigan graduate, Carolyn delighted in visiting gardens and farm stands, prepared chef-level meals, and rolled out her own flaky crust for every fruit pie. As a working mother to three children, she made a home where food played an essential role, at once nourishing and celebratory.
