Donors gave to the University of Michigan with extraordinary generosity in the last fiscal year,* making it the second best fundraising year in U‑M history. Overall commitments topped $774 million, up more than 70% from the previous fiscal year. This included a record-setting $223 million to support students with scholarships, fellowships, or other success programs.
