At the University of Michigan, accessible food is a mission our Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses are taking on. Food pantries across the university are more than shelves of groceries, they’re a welcoming home base for students, families, and community members. These resources help ensure that anyone facing food insecurity can focus on learning and growth, and are encouraged for everyone to take advantage of, regardless of need. The pantries offer a broad range of fresh produce, canned goods, snacks, and even household essentials, in a safe, judgment-free space. Every visit affirms the dignity and worth of all Wolverines, breaking down stigma and building community.
Thanks to thoughtful donations and dedicated staff, this vital resource continues to grow, bridging gaps and enriching lives. Together, we’re fostering a more inclusive campus, where every student can thrive, and no one has to wonder where their next meal will come from.
