University of Michigan Alumni of China Scholarship ‑ 799073

The U-M China Alumni Scholarship was established as the first alumni-supported endowed scholarship to benefit students from China studying at U-M. A group of alumni led by Lefan Gong (LLM '99) established the scholarship in 2015 in anticipation of a U-M delegation visit that year. The China Alumni Scholarship Fund is used to support undergraduate and graduate students who attended high school or college in China, and are distributed based on merit with a preference for students with financial need. Students who are eligible to receive this funding must have attended secondary or post-secondary school in China. Funds will be distributed to high-achieving students with a preference for those who have financial need.
