William R. and Christiane Anderson Fellowship Fund ‑ 700889

Christiane Anderson (Ph.D. 1971) and her late husband William Anderson (Ph.D. 1971) both pursued botany in graduate school and for the better part of their careers, worked at the University's Herbarium, home to some of the finest botanical collections in the world. This fund supports graduate students with financial need with preferences for those who come from an underrepresented background, have experienced financial hardship as a result of family economic circumstances, are first-generation U.S. citizens or permanent residents, or are the first generation in their families to graduate from a four-year college.
