Financial Aid
Students admitted to the Brehm Scholars Program receive four-year resident tuition scholarships. All Fordson graduates, regardless of their residency status, will be considered for this scholarship. However, the student/family will be responsible for obtaining funds to cover the additional cost of out-of-state tuition should they not qualify for in-state tuition.
Some scholars may need to seek additional financial support to cover living expenses during their time in Ann Arbor. A variety of resources are available for this purpose, ranging from supplementary scholarships to loans. See the U-M Office of Financial Aid website for more information.
Student Organizations
The U-M is home to a diverse spectrum of more than 1100 student organizations, including religious, political, ethnic, and social service groups. These organizations provide a sense of community, offering exciting opportunities for learning, socializing, and networking with others who share your interests. A full list of registered student groups can be found on U-M’s Maize Pages.
Michigan is also a leader in collegiate athletics. Its 25 intercollegiate teams are frequently ranked among the top in the nation. The campus is rich with intramural and club sports opportunities, too. Whether you want to play a pickup game of ultimate frisbee or sing a rousing chorus of “Hail to the Victors” with more than a hundred thousand fellow football fans, U-M has the opportunity for you.
