Students took a break from studying for a calming moment with therapy dogs to recharge, connect, and reset during a rigorous academic season

As finals season got underway last December, students took a study break at the Shapiro Library with hot drinks, treats—and visits from therapy dogs. In collaboration with Therapaws of Michigan, the Shapiro Library hosted the “De-stress w/ Dogs & Study!” event, offering students a chance to pause and recharge during a busy academic year. The study space transformed into a place of comfort and warmth as students took a moment for themselves before going back to the books. And donor support on Giving Tuesday helped make it happen, enhancing student health and well-being programs across campus.
