Stepping inside the Hadley Family Recreation & Well-Being Center feels like a fresh start. That was the goal for U‑M parents Philip and Nicole Hadley, whose $20 million gift helped replace the previous Central Campus Recreation Building (CCRB) with this new, state-of-the-art facility.
The Hadley Center is more than a gymnasium—it’s the largest recreational building on campus, boasting 200,000 square feet dedicated to the mind-body connection. Cycling studios, rock climbing areas, and squash and racquetball courts are just a few of the amenities that make the Hadley Center a premiere hub for U‑M students, faculty, and staff.
